Bunch ($14.95) (0.931MB)
|
Description:
The general aim in Bunch is to group (bunch) balls of the same colour together. The player decides when they want to collect the balls to score points from the bunches made. The bigger the bunch the more points that bunch will be worth. Two groups of three is not as valuable as one group of six. Different game modes offer different types of game play although the idea of swapping to bunch and collecting is the same. Some players prefer the addictive classic mode, whilst others enjoy the relaxed and more thoughtful puzzle mode. The time trial mode offers 5 minutes of fast paced fun.
The full version of the game offers hours and hours of fun, challenging and addictive game play.
Features:
Puzzle Mode
In puzzle mode you will need to think a lot more and speed is of no importance as there is no timer. Try to complete all 50 levels with the highest score possible. To complete a level you'll need to form all the bunches outlined in the level before the collection button will be enabled. You can maximise your score by continuing to form bunches even after you have placed all the balls over the corresponding tiles. If you haven't done so already please view the quick tutorial to find out how to play.
Classic Mode
Keep bunching the balls until you can't bunch no more and then collect. A timer bar will increase in relation to the score you achieve from a collection so don't let it run out! Every time you collect 100 balls your level will increase. The higher the level the faster the timer (note: the timer bar runs out faster on higher difficulties and you will also get penalised for invalid swaps on normal and hard). There are 30 levels in easy, normal and hard. You'll have to be good to complete easy and very good indeed to complete normal. But to complete hard you'll have to be one hell of a super-swapping fast-thinking dude!
Time Trial Mode
In this game mode you have 5 minutes before the timer runs out and the game is over. An automatic collection takes place every 30 seconds, which is different to classic and puzzle mode where you choose when to collect. To the left of the game screen a countdown timer indicates the seconds remaining until the next collection. You will need to make high scoring bonus bunches to get a high score.
Bonus Bunches
To achieve really high scores and to get further in classic mode (i.e. attain higher levels) you should aim to get bonus bunches. There are three types of bonus bunches: -
Liner - a bunch that need not be straight but must span from one side to the other, i.e. up/down or left/right. Scores TWO times more than a normal bunch
Super Bunch - all of the same coloured balls on the grid in ONE bunch, i.e. all reds, all blues, etc. Scores THREE times more than a normal bunch
Full Screen Collective - every ball in the grid is in a bunch. The score attained from the collection is DOUBLED! The bonus is added after any other bonus bunches. So you can get some really high scores if your able to Super Bunch every colour in one collection!
